SINGING AND REPETITION OF SONGS, IS BRILLIANT FOR THE BRAIN!

I started this journey in Covid singing via Zoom for a nursing home and having recently volunteered with a gorgeous group for Alzheimer’s in Bridgend, Wales, for Singing for the Brain.

The warmth and love in that group kept bringing me back to these old songs. The changes that our elderly have been through are huge and I wanted to do something to help with memory loss, delaying that, and helping with speech. If you sing every day you will notice a difference!

I need to thank Abbey Road Studios, OJ Flowers, Lorne Balfe, John Craig (Warner Records), John Waller (Absolute), Jackie Gill (my agent), Steve Edis (MD), Lorraine King and Elizabeth Izreal (Alzheimer’s Society), Sheila Willicombe (Welsh Stars), Alice Atkinson (Air Edel), Iain McCallum (Press and Publicity), all at Bridgend Singing for the Brain, and my own lovely MOM and DAD for their unwavering support.

Love Sian x

All proceeds go to Alzheimer’s Society
